Hold On

I was inspired to create this piece after speaking to a parent who was struggling with the current lockdown. I thought about how disconnected we are from family and how people are holding on by a single thread. The knot in the stem signifies the strength we have to hold on. created in polychromos and Derwent lightfast coloured pencils.
