Getting darker with carbon pencils

If you’re anything like me you’ll love the appeal of tonal artwork. I’ve often found myself frustrated with graphite pencils as they just don’t achieve the darks that I need. Step in carbon pencils, these achieve brilliant darks and they don’t have the shine of graphite.
